G Sharp - Sponsored Artist
June 30, 2009 by rapmanual

The Biography of G Sharp
Geren "G Sharp" Davis was
born July 21, 1990 in Tulsa, OK. His parents are Tori and Eddie Davis, Sr.. He
lived there for about 8 years then moved to , thanks to his father's new church.
Geren always had dreams of being an NBA star, but the dream had become unreal
to him as he discovered his talent and passion for music in 2004. By 2006 Geren
had given himself the title "G Sharp" and recorded an album,
"Tha Fresh Man", and sold it on iTunes. Unfortunately, the sales were
under radar, and he then began to rethink this whole dream. The next year, he
was back at it. Hoping to redeem himself from the low-budget recording of his
1st album, he went and bought equipment for a home studio. He then began to
work on his next album entitled "The Declaration of Hip Hop". The
album was a major step up from his previous, but managed to only sell a few
thousand copies. The problem here was probably "promotion". This
album dropped in August of 2008. By January of '09, G Sharp was back with yet
another album named "The Greatest Alive", and was clearly stating his
point. Again the album sales increased, as well as his fan base. It is believed
that G Sharp has enough recorded records to put out 3 more albums right now.
Let's see what the world thinks about him.

Reggie P - Sponsored Artist
June 30, 2009 by rapmanual

THE BIO OF Reggie P
(MMG) 2008
Webster’s Dictionary States Reggie P IS: Something that furnishes proof; something submitted to ascertain the truth of a matter…that’s why his name is Reggie P! The album “Yeah I Did It” portrays one of two sides to this idolized character. The first album “Yeah I Did It” explains Reggie P. who is the suit and tie guy you see at your business meetings. He’s that corporate professional sealing the big deals; he is the white collar hustler. His second album “HOTTA-DEN-U” depicts Reggie P; the raspy voice Super Star who is larger than life! I mean you can’t help but to notice this flagrant rap star. By no means is he arrogant, it’s just something about Evidence that attracts you to him. He simply put it to me like this, “I’m the best (with a smirk). If you think, I think I’m better than you, you’re probably right…or you have no confidence in yourself. We can laugh and joke after I demolish you lyrically; no hard feelings.”
Reggie P’s bravado fits his persona, swagger, and talent. Yeah, Mr. Reggie P. will battle you; beat you and tell you why you got smashed! Hell he had to earn his spot just like the next man. When ask about the other Evidence (Dilated Peoples) he made it clear to me that, “the only difference between me and him is that I’m underground and he’s mainstream. When I’m done doing my thing on the underground and sign to a major, he’ll have to bow down.” Born June 14, 1980 in Martinsville, VA where he quickly learned that all things aren’t true, and good things don’t last forever. At the age of 5 years old his mother relocated the family to Louisville, KY in hopes of a better life, what she found was drugs and even more uncertainty. Severely strung out on crack cocaine, she soon abandons her children to fully commit to a drug that consumed her for twenty years.
Though times where extremely hard Reggie P aka Evidence found refuge in music at an early age. At the tender age of 9 Evidence performed his first show on the stage of Kenwood Elementary in Louisville, Kentucky. From that point on his talents were recognized, not only by himself but friends and family alike. In middle school he wrote his first album named "The 7 Chapters" and was also part of the Lassiter Middle School News team. At Pleasure Ridge Park high school in Louisville, Kentucky his musical talent was requested at almost every party event in and out of school. No wonder he was picked to play lead roles in school plays and named Most Talented for the year of 1999. That same year he joined the army, but that didn’t slow his progress any. Reggie P came in runner-up in the highly esteemed "Boss Fort Hood Idol" talent contest. Went to Iraq and won the first "Iron horse Free-style Battle" contest for three consecutive weeks. This compelled him to enter the "VH1 Song of the Year" contest earning him one runner-up spot and a suggested artist spot for the year 2004. It also earned him an article written by Andrew Keese of the "Killeen Daily Herald,” Kelly Hunt of the "Fort Hood Sentinel,” Stacey Segovia of the “Leaf Chronicle” and many other notable journalists. Evidence has talent only god could give and it shows in his music. After you’re done listening to him you’ll think you’ve known him all your life. He doesn’t just rap he has conversations with his listeners; that’s what I love about his music. He makes music you can dance to and music you can sit back, think about and relate to. He raps with the passion of Tupac and lyrical skill of NAS. Smooth like Jay-Z; flashy like Bird Man, Reggie P is definitely a SUPERSTAR!

Wats goody good mane. Da 1 and only Drez J is about to tell u alittle about myself. April, 20 1991 ya boy was born. Growin up and not havin alot like the other kids i would look for things to do that I could do better then the others. I discovered music and song writting. I would listen the old skool songs from da 60's and 70's. Like Earth, Wind, and Fire, Gap band, Maze, Al Green, the orginals, thats how I learned the da composer of music. I would always sing the songs before I could even talk. I was a very advanced youngin ya digg. But neway I learned alot about music just from them artist and bands. In 96' I started listening to rap. I would listen to artistist like Tupac, Biggie, Jay-Z, IceCube, Bone Thug and Harmony, and Eazy-E, I would also listen to da old timerz of rap like Boogie Boyz, Run DMC, Sleek Rick, Public Enemy. My brothers always had old tapes to dis day of old skool rappers like dem in his car. We would always listen to them while I was in da car wit them. I started learn da flow of music and how it should written and composed as a real MC through dat music. I guess u can say my learning process of rap began there. As I grew up and became more knowledgable about rap, I began to grow a passion for music and want to write but never took day step to get dere. But in 2007, I wrote my first song. At dat time I was gon as da rapper know as Yung Rich. I created my own studio in my room with a computer mic, speaker foam, rubberbands, aa paper clip, sock, and a 5 year old computer. Everything was goin on at da time. I recorded songs like drip drop and money flow. Den I stopped rappin. I took a break thinkin I really sucked untill people told me dat i was pretty good and wit alittle more work and determination I could really go somewhere with dis music thing. So I got back on my grind but with a new name. I returned as Yung drama. I recorded songs like where da cash be and stylin and since den i have been goin strong and growin. But now im a new person and rapper. Im Drez J, new name, new game, new hustle, new flow, new money, and im gettin plenty of it. Get to know me real quick cuz ima bout to show da world a new swagg ya digg. Imma shine till da suns blind!!!!!!!!

Tone Da Boss - Sponsored Artist
June 25, 2009 by rapmanual
Tone Da Boss, born Antonio Chalmers on July 26th, 1988, comes from a
lower class family in Chicago, Illinois. What most would call hard
times is a walk in the park for this hardworking young man. Growing up
in the era of and being inspired by Bone Thugs ‘N’ Harmony, Tupac
Shakur, Biggie Smalls, and the Fugeez, Tone Da Boss brings a lot of the
original 90s hip hop into today’s sound. He possesses the drive and
ambition to go out to spread the word and accomplish things on his own.
He is fully devoted to making a name for himself in the music industry.
Tone calls himself “Da Boss” because he has been working since the age
of 12 to find ways to make money and to support his family on his own.
He has had his own house and cars since the ripe age of 14 and became
musically involved at the age of 16. Since then Tone has dedicated his
life to do whatever it takes, at any cost to become successful and move
his family up and out of the ghettos of Chicago. He designs his own
album covers, websites, prints, and distributes his own CD’s. Tone is
not only a one- man team, but can also be described as a new-age
Renaissance man. His unique voice and versatile lyrics makes him not
only a force to be reckoned with but also someone who can relate to all
audiences. Tone’s ability to write a radio ready single in less than 20
minutes also keeps him very p
roductive. With over 300 full songs
recorded in the last 2 years, he is definitely what you call a
workaholic. In the last two years, Tone has released two full albums;
Street Anthems, and his self-titled album It’s Tone. Street Anthems,
released in 2007, featured not only two of his fellow rap group
members, but also songs with G-Unit members 40 Glocc and Spiderloc.
It’s Tone, released in 2008 accompanied by a mix-tape, was the artist’s
first solo album, and went on to sell over 5,000 copies even without a
distribution deal. Tone sold every copy himself, traveling to numer
ous cities in Iowa. He has done several features with different underground
artists and has made numerous mix-tape appearances throughout the
nation. He’s opened up for the likes of Bizzy Bone, Jo Jo, Lloyd,
Ciara, Ja Rule, Young Buck, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Lil Boosie, Young Jeezy,
Lil Wayne, T-Pain, and more. There isn’t an artist more ready, willing
and to make an impact on the industry than Tone Da Boss.
